My pup had tear stains, he’d scratch & lick his feet staining them as well. I bought him to the vet for a checkup, she said it was caused by a food allergy. He’s a rescue from the animal shelter, so other than knowing he’s a Maltese I had no history. I started cooking his food. Sweet potatoes, orzo pasta & fish. The fish changes from wild caught salmon or catfish, sometimes as a treat I add crab meat or shrimp. We are on the coast so it’s easy to access. The tear stains & paw licking went away completely. We discovered he’s allergic to animal protein & rice. His treats are Disney’s vegan Tablescraps. The turtle on the front of the bag. If you or someone you know has a pup that does what mine did it’s definitely worth the little bit of effort to try this for a month to see if it would help.

You’re an amazing groomer, so patient and loving. I was crying seeing a little dog shaking in the other videos, and the groomer thought it was ok to make them bleed. They are sentient beings. They can feel that pain even though they may not expressed it.

I wish my Shih tzu was this cooperative! Haha yea….ok 😂. I’ve been trying to warm him up to the scissors for two years now. He lets me pet is brow with the non sharp sides of the scissors but as soon as I go in to trim, he’s not having it. Doesn’t sit still for anything.

I give my toy poodle a true bath…fill up the bathtub till his tummy with nice warm water…play with him for a while (he does love to play with his rubber ducky) he learned how to swim that way as well) take my time shampooing him ; then softly with a small container rinse him and play with him for a while-I then drain the bathtub; rinse him slowly; then apply conditioner to him and rinse again; all done,,rap him up in a warm towel and lift him out of the bathtub..hold him for a while and then on my heated bathroom floor lay a towel so he can shake and rub himself on the floor-he loves doing it and gets frisky and playful-I let him play for a while and the start grooming him in slow stages. He loves his bath-time and gets excited when he hears the bathtub water running.

OMG, you didn't know about this brush?! I'm sorry I didn't recommend it to you a long time ago. I found your videos after I finally got my dream dog in 2019. Dolly is a black standard poodle, well, more like a "bad black" (slightly faded now but not as much as a blue. She also has a "gay tail." We jokingly call her a "Substandard Poodle.") I just assumed since you're such a fantastic groomer that surely you knew all about these brushes. I'm no groomer; I'm just a novice trying to learn how to groom Dolly since her beloved groomer is slowly retiring. She highly recommended this brush to me and I have recommended it to anyone who will listen. My Dolly wears a modified sweetheart/babydoll clip we call the Dolly Clip. I still have so much to learn! I try to make up for my total lack of skill, talent and experience with the best tools I can afford. I greatly appreciate your videos. You're such a good teacher. Kenchii also makes a decent, faster brush much cheaper; but the pins are so sharp and it doesn't remove nearly as much coat as the CC Coral Big G. I want to get it in the small and medium sizes for smaller areas and for my Persian cat.

I've been watching your videos on your brushes and it is helpful. How long did you go without brushing your dogs legs out? I love the haircut on Benny the black one. How often do you express the anal glands? My Phoebe doesn’t like a bath either, and has to stand in on spot no matter what I do. Lol. I just purchased Warren London professional shampoo and conditioner, what are you thoughts on their products? I also purchased one of their Spray on conditioners with Parfum. Haha, it doesn’t have much of a scent at all, but WOW, it made for toning so much easier.

Karla( new sub) my Tiny Toy is the same color, just a deeper red. I have a cheaper brand of clipper set that’s made for tiny dogs and I love it. Just trying to learn how to groom. I’m going to check those out for my Phoebe. Thank you for sharing.

Are you not making New Videos? Would love so to see you do a full Groom on a lighter colored toy poodle. How do I get my tiny toy to let me groom her paws? It’s me Karla, I may have asked you in another video, I’ve just started learning how to groom myself. I bought a pair of Wahls Dog Clippers with attachments. Also have a set geared for smaller dogs which I love, but I cannot get the hair in her legs all straight and cannot figure out what I’m doing wrong? HELP!!! 😢😅😮. And just cannot get her top notch right. I just can no longer afford my groomer as she keeps raising her price( which I understand) but on a tight budget and Phoebe has had emergency liver surgery due to liver shunt, and her Rx dog food and vet bills are so much. I have watched so so so many tutorials. Especially yours and one other, but just can’t get it. My groomer always left her nails so so long, that her vein has elongated. So I am having to do as you do, snipping just a tiny bit at a time, she also has hip dysplasia and knees issues. Still trying to figure out best positioning. Thank you. You are such a great teacher. This has helped me so much as I am learning how to groom my tiny toy poodle myself. I have so much respect and gratitude to you groomers as it’s really hard. I think my groomer had to put my furr baby up in a ? Harness in order to do her paws as she is so so ticklish, makes it extremely hard to do. Any suggestions. I have shi poms that I have learned to groom by watching videos from quite a few groomers. I like your gentleness with her. She is absolutely adorable! My male that is 11 is unruly when being groomed, but my female who is 5 is a sweetheart like the one you did. I started rubbing her feet when she was a puppy and she loves me to rub her feet now and spreads her toes apart while getting massages! Definitely have to work with grooming them while babies. Loved your video!
